After a short time in the financial sector (1986-1988) as a Credit Officer at Byblos Bank Belgium, George Jabbour moved to advertising and have not looked back. He joined Intermarkets (affiliated to Saatchi & Saatchi) between 1988 and 1989, and worked on major accounts mainly: Procter & Gamble, J&B, Absolut, and Bailey’s. In 1989, he moved to Publicis-Graphics where he spent 8 years working on a rich portfolio including: Nestlé, Henkel, J&J, Lipton, and Kodak. In 1997, George joined Fortune Promoseven Lebanon operation (affiliated to McCann Erickson) as a Managing Director, and became the CEO of MCN (Middle East Communications Network - Near East) from 2005 until 2019. He then founded his own company Communications Tact – Comtact, and is its CEO.
George holds a Master’s in Marketing from Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth or Saint Joseph University and is member of the Lebanese Association for Sustainable Energy (LASE) and of The National Council for the Promotion of Tourism.
