The below mobile banking application Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to users of the LIBANK S.A.L. (Levant Investment Bank) Mobile Banking Application (the “Application.”).

Your privacy is important to us and this policy explains how your data are treated and protected. LIBANK strictly applies the GDPR requirements. As you review this Policy, here are few general principles to keep in mind. By downloading the Application on your mobile device, you consent to this Policy.

Information that we may collect about you through your usage of the Application is limited to your username, password, OTP code and location. LIBANK does not use, share or analyze the info and does not disclose them to any third party. To note, the application is not accessible through a web browser, and accordingly no cookies or any other web data are collected. We may collect information such as unique device identifiers for your mobile device, your screen resolution and other device settings, without using them for commercial purposes.

There may be certain information transmitted to us regarding your physical location when accessing the Application. The said data will assist us in mitigating against any potential breaches or unauthorized access to the user information.

Your data are stored in a LIBANK Data Center located on the Bank’s premises in Lebanon. All security measures are taken and updated regularly to combat any potential fraud, hack or attack.

In case of investigation, we may share the information collected as well as information about your accounts and their activities. The information will be shared to either comply with the requirements of the law or court orders, or to protect the Bank’s and its clients’ interests.
